Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026.
Acceptance
By using Milk Book's website, apps or portal you agree to these Terms. If you use Milk Book on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that business.
The service
Milk Book is bookkeeping software for milk vendors and dairies. It records milk, amounts and payments that the Vendor enters. Milk Book does not hold or move money and does not set the Vendor's rates. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of what they record and for their dealings with their own customers.
Vendor responsibilities
Vendors must follow the laws that apply to their business, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. They should tell their customers that their records are kept in Milk Book, and must not use the WhatsApp, SMS or Email add-ons to send spam or unlawful messages.
Accounts
Keep your phone and sign-in codes secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these Terms.
Plans and fees
The core features are included. Paid add-ons and subscription plans are quoted per Vendor and agreed in a written quotation before use. A plan covers the add-ons and the number of months stated in that quotation.
Intellectual property
Milk Book owns the software. Vendors own their data and branding and give us a licence to use them only to provide the service.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Milk Book is not liable for indirect losses, and its total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
Either party may end the service with notice. Vendors can ask for a copy of their records before their account is closed.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, both sides will first try to resolve it by talking it through in good faith. If it is not resolved that way, the courts at the place of business of the Vendor (the customer of Milk Book) will have jurisdiction.
